WHO WE ARE
“Being involved with Catholic Campus Ministry at SMU has given me daily access to the sacraments that have enriched my Catholic faith and have brought me closer to Jesus. Being a part of a community of college students who share my same faith has been life-changing, as going through college with genuine friends that I can count on has made a world of difference.”
— Mary Catherine McDermott ‘25

Our History
Since 1932, Catholic Campus Ministry at SMU has offered Holy Mass, faith formation, and Christian community to countless students, faculty, staff, alumni at SMU. As a ministry of the Diocese of Dallas, CCM-SMU serves the largest religious denomination of students on campus. We are privileged to support students’ prayer, intellectual formation, and Christian community through the unique gift of the Neuhoff Catholic Student Center, located near SMU’s campus at the corner of University Boulevard and Airline Drive. Since 2020, the ministry has been led by Fr. Wade Bass, a priest of the Diocese of Dallas.
